Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a non invasive approach to the assessment and treatment of joints and soft tissues, such as muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. It uses manual, hands on therapy and physical rehabilitation as a means of relieving pain, and gaining maximal function, independence and potential.

Here at Radius all of our Physiotherapists are highly trained, with a wealth of experience and knowledge. They are also CSP and HCPC registered.

All of our Physiotherapists follow the guidelines formulated by NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) who support physiotherapy for all Biomechanical issues with our bodies.

During your initial assessment, the physiotherapist will thoroughly assess you and put together a treatment plan to start your rehabilitation. They will aim to get you on the road to a full recovery as quickly and safely as possible.

We utilise several different treatment techniques such as Acupuncture, Massage, Rigid taping, Kinesiology taping, Manipulation, Mobilisation, Ultrasound, Muscle stimulation, Exercise therapy, Hot stone massage and Stretches.

Our aim is to work with you to guide you back to normal; or to specific activities, sports, or whatever may be important to you. We want to ensure you have the optimal mobility, strength and fitness to live your life the way you want to.
