COVID-19 Update - Sunday 22nd March 2020

 
I am just updating everyone regarding Radius Healthcare's current plan for the coronavirus crisis.
 
Following the government’s decision on Friday 20th March to force a shut down on all social gathering places in order to stop the general public from coming in to close contact with each other, Radius Healthcare has decided to move all our appointments to a virtual service and offer no face to face contacts with immediate effect. All booked appointments will be transferred to Virtual appointments and we will be in contact with all our patients to advise how you can access our service.

Radius remains open for business but only in a virtual format, which involves video (or telephone) calls to you, our clients to discuss their condition and virtually examine your problem. We will then send out pictures or videos via email to show you (our fantastic patients), your exercises/stretches.  Research has shown this to be an extremely effective method of managing all conditions and also enables everybody to continue to look after your health at all times, and especially right now in these times of limited contact.

Virtual consultations are fully supported by all health insurance companies, especially during this crisis, and therefore everybody is eligible to this service. Fees will be settled by your health insurance companies in the normal way, and self funding patients can settle in the normal way also by credit/debit card payments.

We want to keep supporting you all and helping you to improve your health while staying safe and away from the virus. Our contact phone number will remain operational at all times and we will be able to answer all your questions as normal, but we encourage you to minimise all contact with other members of the general public in these trying times. The Virtual Service is Radius’ way of getting behind the government, the NHS and the country’s effort to fight this virus and keep our population well.

Credit Card Details

From Monday 2nd December we will be asking all of our current patients and all new patients to register their credit card details with us.  This will help your billing run more smoothly and reducing your waiting time before and after your appointment.
